Mighty Mohave Monthly - September 2025

Happy September, Mohave families!

In just our first month of the school year, we got off to a great start! Thanks to our mighty Mohave community, we showed up and showed out for our Wildcats:

The annual donation drive raised more than $3,200!
The Shake Shack dine-out raised more than $400!
Last, but certainly not least, family game night raised a whopping $3,000!

Your participation and support ensures we can deliver a great experience this school year for Mohave students and staff through PBIS support, teacher recognition, 8th grade dance, and more!

And we're not done, yet! If you haven't already registered for the 2nd Annual Wildcat Classic Golf Tournament, hurry up! Early bird(ie) - see what we did there? - ends on Sept. 5, and registration CLOSES on Sept. 9. Last year we raised more than $11,000 - help us beat it!

We're also looking forward to the next PTO meeting, which will take place on Monday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m. in the Mohave library. Join us to hear from Principal Ferrero, learn about upcoming events and meet some fellow parents!

Hearing and Vision Screenings - Volunteers Needed

Hearing and vision screenings will take place on Thursday, Sept. 25, and Nurse Renee could use a few extra hands to help with the process. Sign up to volunteer here. Mohave PTO is providing lunch for all volunteers!

Donate Your Gently Used Clothes to the Nurse's Office

Nurse Renee could use a little help stocking the Nurse’s Office! We’re looking for boys’ and girls’ t-shirts and pants (sizes S–XL). New or gently used items are welcome. Please drop off at the front office, attention Nurse Renee—thank you for supporting our kids!

We had a packed house for family game night! HUGE THANKS to event chairs, Ghadeer Chacon and Nycole Ahumada, who planned and executed a fun night full of great food, fun games and over-the-top prizes! We're also thankful for numerous volunteers who made sure everyone had snacks, game cards and raffle tickets during this busy event.
