Mighty Mohave Monthly - February 2026

Hi, Mohave families:

The second half of the school year is off to a great start. We raised more than $120 at the Qdoba dineout on Jan. 15, hosted a packed house for Future Wildcat Night on Jan. 27, and stocked the PBIS store with a ton of great prizes and gift cards.

We're gearing up for a busy month, including an 8th Grade Dance committee meeting, family trivia night at Roadhouse Cinemas, and third quarter sports kicking off competitive play. Keep scrolling to read more!

We're also hoping you can share the love this Valentine's Day season by donating pencils and tissues to teachers, who continue to need these supplies for their classrooms, as well as contribute snacks for the teachers' lounge. This supply drive will run through Friday, Feb. 13, and donations can be left at the front office, labeled, "teachers' lounge."

Our last PTO meeting was on Jan. 12, and you can review the meeting minutes here. Make sure to join us for the next PTO meeting, Monday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. in the Mohave library.

Share the Love and Help Mohave Stock Up!

Your Wildcat students are busy learning, using up pencils and tissues faster than teachers can supply them! Help stock classrooms with supplies and help Mohave staff fuel up with snacks by donating tissues, pencils and teachers' lounge snacks now through Friday, Feb. 13. All donations can be dropped at the front office labeled, "teachers' lounge." Thank you for donating!

8th Grade Dance Planning Meeting THIS Thursday, Feb. 5!

The 8th Grade Dance will be on Wednesday, May 20, and we need all hands on deck for this great event. If you're interested in helping, join us this Thursday, Feb. 5, at 5:30 p.m. on the patio at Detroit Coney Grill (Hayden and Indian Bend).

Feb. 23 Trivia Night at Roadhouse Cinemas!

Join us for family trivia night on Monday, Feb. 23, at Roadhouse Cinemas! We'll gather for some friendly competition, enjoy food and drink specials and have exciting raffle items and prizes for trivia winners. Roadhouse is also generously donating 12 percent of food sales back to Mohave!

With limited capacity, we ask everyone to RSVP for this event (no cost to attend). Raffle tickets will be available for online and in-person purchase, so keep an eye on Instagram and Facebook, where we'll feature all the great prizes up for grabs!

8th Grade Yearbook Dedications

Scottsdale Parent Council has finalized dates and topics for the spring semester, covering school finance, sports, site councils and more. Mark your calendars - all SUSD parents/guardians are welcome!

Future Wildcat Night Highlights

We had a full house on Jan. 27 as we welcomed future Wildcats and their families to campus. National Junior Honors Society (NJHS), student government and cheer team all led tours, cheerleaders kept spirits high and PTO provided Mohave t-shirts to all future students in attendance. Thanks to all the students and staff who showed off how mighty Mohave truly is!
