We hope everyone had a fun and safe spring break!

We're back and busy as ever, looking forward to end-of-year celebrations, including Teacher Appreciation Week and 8th grade promotion activities. Last week we also provided lunch for our hard-working Mohave teachers, as they conducted 3rd quarter parent-teacher conferences. Some dates to save on your calendar as we wrap up the school year:

April 10, 11 and 12: Sweet Provisions dine-out! Visit Sweet P's all weekend long, mention the Mohave fundraiser, and we'll get 20 percent of sales donated back to Mohave.
April 13: April PTO meeting focused on volunteer appreciation and board election! 6 p.m. at the Vig McCormick with hosted light appetizers.
May 4-8: Teacher Appreciation Week
May 19: 8th grade Sun Splash trip, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
May 20: 8th grade dance, 5:30-7:30 p.m. No cost for students, sponsored by PTO.
May 21: 8th grade promotion, 9 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., limited to 2 tickets per student.

Our last PTO meeting was on March 9, and you can review the meeting minutes here. Our next PTO meeting is on Monday, April13, at 6 p.m. at the Vig McCormick for volunteer appreciation and board election.

Teacher Appreciaton Week - Help Show Our Appreciation!

We’re gearing up for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8) and would love your support! We are currently collecting monetary donations to go toward gift cards for our incredible teachers and staff, as well as raffle prize donations to help make the week extra special. You can donate through Venmo @PTOMohave or on our website.

Any contribution—big or small—is truly appreciated. Thank you for helping us celebrate and recognize our amazing Mohave team!

Sweet Provisions Dine-Out, April 10, 11, 12

Join us at Sweet Provisions, April 10, 11 and 12! Grab a sweet treat all weekend long, mention Mohave, and 20 percent of sales go back to Mohave PTO! From cookies, to pie, to candy, to ice cream, there's something for everyone!

Sweet P's is open 3:30-9 p.m. on April 10, and noon-9 p.m. on April 11 and 12.

Let's Send the 8th Graders Off in Style!

The 8th Grade Dance will be on Wednesday, May 20. Check out the Signup Genius and see where you can lend a hand. From setup, to serving food, to chaperoning, to clean-up, we have a task for every interest. This is a great way for 6th and 7th grade families to see what's in store for their students, and a fun way for 8th grade families to make the last week extra special!

1st Day School Supplies - It's Never Too Early to Plan for Next Year!

Help us stock our middle school classrooms by purchasing a supplemental grade-level supply kit for the 2026–27 school year. These kits provide shared supplies that go directly to teaching teams, not individual students. Items include classroom essentials like tissues, pencils, etc. so students don’t need to bring bulk supplies.

These are not personal student supplies like binders, pens, etc.
These are shared amongst the entire grade and benefit all students.
Individual supply lists will be provided at Wildcat Walkabout and Curriculum Night in August.
